A cut above the rest
Chainsawbars UK is the UK’s leading specialist retailer of chainsaw guide bars and tree surgery equipment. The business caters to both professional tree surgeons and serious domestic users across the UK. With a wide product range, from global brands to their own “Panther” line, Chainsawbars prides itself on deep technical knowledge, product innovation, and a loyal customer base.
The business was ready to scale its online operations, build brand recognition for its Panther range, and improve marketing consistency across platforms.

The Brief
Chainsawbars came to us with ambitious goals and a tightly controlled budget. With around £500 per month allocated to Google Ads, every click needed to count. The client had previously tried PPC without success and was understandably cautious.
On top of this, they were launching their own product range under the “Panther” brand — and needed to ensure it gained traction alongside the established manufacturers they stocked.
Their website and Merchant Centre feed also required refinement to support growth, improve user experience, and deliver a consistent message across all marketing channels. Our task was to deliver a full-funnel strategy that not only drove sales but built long-term brand equity across Google, Meta, email, and the site itself.
Laying the groundwork. Building the momentum.
This wasn’t just about running ads. It was about creating a complete, high-performing digital presence from the ground up.
We began with a full review of the website and customer journey, then designed and built new landing pages optimised for conversion, including campaign-specific pages to promote the Panther brand. We implemented social catalogues, and ensured all tracking was correctly in place — because if you don’t know where your sales are coming from, what’s the point?
We launched tailored campaigns across the Google network and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), combining upper-funnel reach with strategic retargeting. We also launched campaigns to target competitor site visitors to intercept purchase-ready traffic.
On the organic and retention side, we overhauled the brand voice, which was previously inconsistent and too personal, and brought uniformity to all marketing channels.
Social media pages were refreshed and maintained with engaging content designed to educate, entertain, and convert, while email marketing was restructured to deliver consistent value through monthly newsletters, product updates, and sales-driven offers.
To extend reach, we set up a Facebook lead generation campaign targeting lookalike audiences and negotiated with influencers in the arborist and forestry space to promote the Panther range. A customer loyalty scheme was introduced to reward repeat buyers, and we continually refined messaging, assets, and audience targeting to ensure strong returns and long-term growth.
