Our client had big dreams with an initial limited monthly budget of £500.  They wanted to push UK online sales with a long term goal to be the UK’s number 1 e-retailer in tree-surgery equipment.

With years of experience in their field, they also wanted to introduce their own brand into the market place to compete alongside brands with years of reputation.

The Strategy

We first had to keep expectations real.  A budget of £500 a month was not going to achieve the goals they wanted to achieve. The client was tentative as they had not had great experiences with Google prior to our relationship.

We devised a strategy that would not only give them confidence in us and the platform’s abilities but also enabled us to expand into other platforms to harness a full-force attack with a bigger budget!

 

What we did…

 

  • Carried out a complete website review to improve the customer journey.
  • Designed and created new landing pages to improve conversion rates for all ads, including new pages showcasing the new brand.
  • Implemented comprehensive tracking across all platforms.  After all, if you don’t know where your sales are coming from, there’s not much point in going any further!
  • Implemented monthly email newsletters to subscribers, promoting new and existing products, offers, providing valuable insights and tips to encourage a customer focused relationship.
  • Developed & implemented a Google search campaign strategy focusing on keywords & dynamic ads.
  • Asset creation for use within a Google & Facebook remarketing campaign and general posts to re-engage website visitors and encourage more sales.
  • Set up and maintained an interactive Instagram & Facebook pages to spread awareness amongst the industry
  • Re-aligned the Social Media accounts to promote brand uniformity across all platforms
  • Researched and employed influencers to road test the new brand and spread the word among their followers
  • Created assets to captivate, entertain, inform and engage followers on Facebook and Instagram
  • Set up and activated catalogues within social media platforms to encourage immediate sales.
  • Targeted visitors of appropriate websites including competitors sites with Google Display ads.
  • Created a Facebook lead generation campaign to target lookalike audiences
  • Set up email marketing and a discount structure to promote the B2B side of the business.

The marketing efforts over the year were so successful they needed to take on 4 extra pairs of hands to cope!
